Building Solar Skills Through Lexsolar PV Training for TVET Instructors

Today at Olta Energy, we had an engaging and practical session with instructors from various TVET institutions, focusing on how to effectively utilize the Lexsolar PV Training Kit for hands-on solar PV education.

Powerful Training Tool

The Lexsolar PV kit is a powerful tool that allows trainees to simulate, experiment with, and understand real-world photovoltaic systems. Through this session, we demonstrated how instructors can integrate it into their curriculum to deliver competency-based training in solar energy technologies.

Why Does This Matter?

Uganda and Africa at large is at a pivotal point in its energy transition. The demand for skilled solar technicians is rapidly rising as more institutions, businesses, and homes adopt clean energy solutions. TVETs are uniquely positioned to bridge this skills gap. By equipping instructors with tools like the Lexsolar PV kit, we’re:
