Empowering TVET Instructors for a Greener Tomorrow

Olta Energy is proud to have played a key role in strengthening renewable energy education in Northern Uganda by delivering pedagogical and technical training to instructors from various Vocational Training Institutes (VTIs). This initiative was held at the National Renewable Energy Training Centre (NRETC) - Nakawa and forms part of a broader effort to localize and scale renewable energy skills across Uganda.

The training was supported by GIZ under the PREEEP programme and executed in partnership with WINS Global Consult GmbH. The sessions focused on equipping instructors with not only advanced technical knowledge in solar PV, biogas, and energy efficiency, but also modern pedagogical tools for effective knowledge transfer. This initiative reaffirms our commitment to capacity building, localization of expertise, and creating green jobs through high-impact technical training.

We invite government institutions, development partners, academic institutions, and the private sector to collaborate with us in future projects aimed at advancing Uganda’s clean energy transition through education and innovation.
